Dad's Up and Walking

We just came back from visiting Dad in the hospital. He is doing well. Tonight while we were there, he went for a walk. I think he will be hard to keep up with once he's healed up, because he stepped right out and took off at a pace that seemed pretty fast to me! Pictured here with his nurse, Melissa, he's just taking off. As you can see, he seems to be having a good time in spite of all the discomfort. The nurses think he'll be going home by the weekend. He's being a great patient. He especially loves his hospital clothes!
