Dad's Home and Doing Great!

Mom brought Dad home from the hospital yesterday afternoon, just in time to celebrate their birthdays! Yesterday was their birthday....yes, both of them were born on January 20th! Anyway, it was exciting to see him back home and I'm sure they were very happy to be there!
Last evening it started snowing lightly, and by morning we had about three inches on the ground. It continued off and on throughout the morning, and we ended up with 5-6" total. It's beautiful, and probably very slick, since there is still a lot of ice under it!The birds were flocking to the feeder today....as usual. We also had four squirrels dining on birdfood. I tried to take a picture of all the birds at our feeder this afternoon. I counted as many as sixteen cardinals at one time.
Tomorrow and through the entire week, bus routes will be on hard surfaces only. My route is all hard surfaces anyway, so nothing changes for me.

So glad to hear that your dad is home and doing well. TOOO FUNNY on them having the same birthday! Guess that way neither one forgets the other, huh? I've been having 'puter issues this afternoon. I was hi-jacked and it completely changed up everything. WEIRD! I think I may have it resolved now.....we'll see!!!!! So far so good, anyhow!!!
I counted about 7 cardinal birds under ours and on the tree. I can never get a picture. They just know when I come out the door regardless of what door and how quiet I am!! Oh well...someday!

That is wonderful about your dad. My mom had asked the other day and then I had to explain a blog. Like speaking a different language to her. LOL Hope all is going well.

Hugs to you
Debra and Hope
